Hello All
Well, the 2008 Pop Warner season has begun and The Providence Packers Youth teams are representing. We had our round robin on August 23. The Pee-Wee team won 15-0 over the Cumberland Colts and the Midget team won 64-0 over the Cumberland Colts. August 31, 2008 was our first actual league game day and our Pee-Wee team lost to the Seekonk Jr. Warriors 15-0 but our Midget team beat the Coventry Rams 16-0. We would like to thank everyone who came out to support our kids Sunday and I hope the fan base grows exponentially as the season progresses. We are very proud of our kids in the way that they played on the field and behaved off of the field. I do intend to start blogging again soon but until then, come to our website so you can keep up with how our children are performing on the gridiron.
Big ups to our man in 2008, Barack Obama for history in the making. Everyone please go out and vote. Show this brother love not because he is a brother but because he is for real and has the answers to the question.
Also, big ups to my girl, Amber Campbell who went over to Beijing and represented in the 2008 Olympics. Although she did not bring home a medal, SHE NOW HOLDS A MAJOR RECORD FOR US WOMEN!!!! Great job Amber, we appreciate you holding us down.
